Q: What is the Technology Applications Teacher Network?
A:The Technology Applications Teacher Network is a partnership product produced
by the Texas Education Service Centers and is maintained by
Region IV Education Service
Center, Houston TX.
Q: Do I need the Technology Applications Certificate to teach a Technology Applications Course today?
A: Initial assignments to teach the six technology applications courses beginning
with the 2003-2004 school year require the Technology Applications Certificate.

Q: If I have an IPT certificate, will that allow me to teach Technology Applications classes?
A: No, you must still have the Technology Applications Certification to teach those classes.
Q: If I currently teach a Technology Applications course, will I be grandfathered?
A: The amendments allow the "grandfathering" of teachers currently assigned to
certain Technology Applications courses, provided annual continuing education
and professional development are completed. See the
